I was looking for movers and received several reviews from thumbtack, but since I was on a budget I went with EZ Moving. I read the contrasting reviews and was a little weary for choosing them but their prices are so low!! My husband was worried that with cheap prices, you get cheap service. We are so pleased!! My husband has to constantly move for work and in the past I would have paid $200/hour for service this good. For 3 movers, I only paid $85/hr! We moved from a 4bd home in Sherman Oaks to a 4bd home in Beverly Hills. I have delicate European furniture, antiques, paintings, and his grandmothers China. They couldn't have wrapped all of my things anymore carefully. I'm used to something getting damaged or scratched during a move, but not with these guys; Tramell and Brian wrapped all of my furniture from head to toe, not even the legs from my couch were showing. Victor individually wrapped all of the China in packing paper, bubble wrap, and then placed each item into a dish box (which came with partitions!). They were definitely well prepared (ask for the special packing material if you have delicates!!). I mean this is just unbelievable. I can't say enough good things about this last move. The lady at the office is a sweetheart and called in several times to check in with me and my husband. We paid $6,200 when we initially moved in with North Star Moving and with EZ Moving our total bill was only $2,800! So we were VERY happy with the final cost!! Our neighbors are using them next week.

These guys were so great. I must admit that I am very late on this review, as I had a lot of personal stuff transpire right after the move. This company came recommended from my coworker. She moved with them in January and assured me they had no hidden fees and had professional workers. The company I used previously came with 1 young guy and two Hispanic men who did not speak a word of English. This was extremely frustrating, as I had delicate pieces that I wanted to instruct the movers on. This time 4 gentlemen (about 25-35 in age) arrived, were very well spoken, and two of the guys were on my coworkers move. For some reason, this consistency was reassuring. Same guys, for me meant same good move! This was exactly the case. They were wonderful! Thank you Trammel for taking such great care of my marble table. I was so worried. The gentleman that initially installed it, said taking it apart would be more difficult. It took all 4 men to disassemble, wrap, and move my table. Its so heavy! There was no rush, no tugging at pieces, and no sticking tools in random slots. This was calculated, professional, and meticulous. Very impressive. Best part was, they didnt take their time like the company in Burbank did. At EZ Moving, each mover was always doing something at some point. Every time we walked by or offered to lend a hand, we were asked to relax and given a smile. It was nice. I was exhausted from packing and planning this move, so to be asked to relax and be in a stress-free zone was nice. One of the gentlemen, Allen or Alex, did such a great job at packing. He fully packed my entire kitchen. He didnt leave a single toothpick! We laughed at how bare our kitchen looked. His packing skills endured the 75 mile bumpy commute. Our new house is still having they pavement put in, so the current pathway is still all rocks and dirt. We were so worried about this. I think I asked them 20x about the glass. Not a single scratch! Not the pieces he packed nor the furniture they wrapped. I did not get a chance to look through any of the items as everything remained in their boxes and furniture pads. We moved in, but we had to leave out of the country right away. We are just now going through everything. Their boxes and furniture pads are completely free to use, but I asked if I could purchase both, seeing as how we would have no time to unpack. This entire move has been so rushed. But it could not have been smoother with EZ. Well be honest, we were anxious coming home from the trip, not seeing any of the pieces (each one was wrapped in entirety, not a millimeter was showing, so we could not see anything, scratches or not). So you can imagine our satisfied and happy faces. It was good rest of the day. There are no hidden fees, they will tell you upfront what is provided for free and what comes with an extra cost. They have flyers on the Internet that show the same prices, so there are no surprises or false information. They have all kinds of boxes too, this will come handy for the different items you may have. We did not pack our clothes because they come with wardrobe boxes where you just hang the clothes inside. The box opens up with a small metal rod inside, you hang your clothes, they close up the box. Very simple. My only suggestion for others is to book it in the morning or a time where they can avoid traffic, I requested a 3PM window on a Friday, so I kind of inconvenienced everyone with this. Overall, will continue to use and recommend.

We had an office move with this company. Our valley location was moving to the west side and we needed help with all the equipment and boxes. The 3 movers and truck deal was the cheapest we found. I called around a few places but these guys were somehow the only ones with a truck bigger than 14ft. Do most companies only have small trucks now? We got the 26ft box truck with all the free materials included. Yellow truck and 3 nice guys showed up in the morning. Cool guys, can tell they were professional movers by talk and technique. Great job on packing the truck. No scratches or dents anywhere. We were worried because of our staircase and no elevators. No extra charge and not a single complaint from the guys! I was impressed. We tipped the guys and got them pizza. Tip for movers: the building we were moving out of was tricky with parking but the moving company can call city for you and have cones to block the road. The furniture blankets and wraps are all free. This was why we went with them the other companies were charging to use each one. We had big items and needed everything wrapped.

These guys were fast, clean, and reliable. Very nice guys who definitely knew what they were doing. The booking was very easy, and girl on the phone explained how to prepare before the move and what will happen during. When we were discussing the details of the move, she asked me to list some of the items we were planning to take. She advised to go with three movers and explained how the team would work. She was right, three guys was the perfect amount. One of the guys was packing, the second was moving, and the third was loading. When it came to the big stuff, they would all get together. There was no booking fee, nothing extra for us to hold the move for two weeks. They also let us know there was no cancellation fee in case we had to change plans. I like that the movers arrived a few minutes earlier. Some people do not care for that kind of detail, but for me itâs a big deal. The guys took the first few minutes to look around the entire house to do a quick walk through to see what items we had and determine how they would pack the truck. Not sure if all companies do this, but it is not take long. Maybe 2 minutes total. They got to work after that. I like that they asked us if we had preference for their shoes. They said some customers are particular with their floors, we had old carpet so we did not care too much for that stuff. No one took scary long breaks that people write about. None of them even smoke cigarettes. This was another bonus. I am not a fan of nicotine and was really worried about getting movers who were. I was really worried about my stuff smelling like it. Was a nice surprise that they were not fans either. This company do not charge for furniture blankets and let you use their dollies. This is nice. Last company that moved me, only let me use six for free, the rest I had to buy. This company has different sizes of blankets too, and for different furniture pieces. Boxes are all free to use, all types wardrobe, tv, dishes. They are all free unless you want to keep, you have to pay. I kept some because I did not want to unpack, but they were only a few dollars. The rest I returned because I just needed them for transport. Depends what you need. Packing was very professional. They had different kinds of shrink and bubble wrap and did a good job at organizing my stuff. I think they only thing that broke was a glass vase that I insisted to put on the truck. They told me they did not safe putting it on the truck, given the weight and constant movement. They advised for me Everything was packaged nicely and I like that they took the time to wrap each foot of the tables. Made me feel safe about it being in the truck. The young man who was loading the truck did such a nice job too. He fit it all, plus my garage! I really thought it would not fit and rented uhual attachment just in case. But we did not need! Very impressed with that. For lunch, we got everyone pizza. Was easy, fast, and nice to treat them. They thanked us all day for it. After lunch time went by even faster. Payment was easy too. They collected the payment when we got to my drop off location. You can pay with cash or credit card. I chose to pay with cash, because they offer 3 or 4% off the total if you pay with cash. I think if you pay with debit or credit card, they use Stripe. Very safe and secure. I would recommend asking for the cash discount.
