This is an excellent company and I’m so happy with my decision.
Let me start by saying this is the first time I’ve hired a muralist and I am also a first time father. This was important to me.
Jeanine took the time to listen to what I was looking for and suggested a few things to help grow my idea. I loved that. She came over and was so kind and really took time to understand this was more than just a job; this was something my kid is going to grow up with. She took measurements, and even took color swatches of the carpet and furniture to make sure we matched the color palette! She quickly mocked something up and a few days later I had a photoshopped mockup for approval. Once we approved it we setup a date and I paid the deposit.
Marcus was the artist that was assigned to this project. He was so kind and wonderful in my home. He let my wife and I peek and see progress, and would check in with me if he had any questions. He’s a really talented artist and executed my vision faithfully.
At the end of the day my wife cried (with joy), we have our incredible mural and I couldn’t recommend this company enough. Really pleased with how it turned out and I will be calling them again for my next mural or art project.

Jeanine was so kind! I was given the task of contacting muralists for a quote through my executives who did not give me much detail or logistics, and Jeanine walked me through everything I was confused and was so patient! I lost access to my account for a couple of months (sorry for the ghosting) and was not as communicative as I would like. Unfortunately, the mural was canceled by my executives and I clicked project canceled not realizing that I couldn't give them an update! I truly apologize and I hope they realize how much I appreciated their attentiveness and care despite me not following through. Great experience!

I can't recommend Jeanine and Ian enough. Right off the bat, Jeanine really listened and understood what we are looking for and designed an absolutely amazing mural for our teahouse in downtown Los Angeles. She did not hesitate when we asked for changes, and consistently asked me for feedback even throughout the painting process in case I wanted to make adjustments.
As for the actual mural, I wish I had enough words to describe just how beautiful it is. We have a challenging space and wanted a 4 wall mural for a very high staircase area. Jeanine and Ian did not hesitate and even brought their own scaffolds. They transformed 4 plain tunnel-like walls (and a ceiling) into a fun and lively outdoor park. Everyone that has come by cannot compliment the murals enough. We are so excited to be sharing this area with our customers soon.
The whole process was super fast and easy, something I wish I can say for the rest of our construction process. I can't wait to work with Jeanine again on our next project! Highly highly highly recommend!

There really aren't enough words to properly describe the superb professionalism of Jeanine and the Hattas Public Mural team. I'll try and be brief and share with you the story of how they helped make my proposal to my girlfriend a dream come true.
I am not someone experienced in the art world, nor have I ever collaborated with artists on a painting or mural. However, I knew it would be the perfect gift if I could have a giant epic framed mural on the wall of my living room to surprise my girlfriend on the day I planned to ask her to marry me.
From start to finish, Jeanine took my vision of that perfect day and made it a reality. I'm going to list the sheer number of things Jeanine and her team did just to show you the amount of attention they paid to me during this project. Jeanine answered every one of my calls, she discussed ideas for creating the scene that would be painted, she recommended colors and styles, she created several mock-ups, she offered several different price points with different values to make it accessible and affordable, she completed the project within an extremely tight window of time, she picked out framing materials, they arrived with all their own equipment, moved my furniture on their own (safely), put up the painting and the frame, cleaned everything up, and moved it back ALL without me having to lift a finger. She literally made it possible for me to return to my home and have nothing to do except focus on asking my girlfriend to marry me. When me and my girlfriend saw the piece, we both cried. It truly represented us. The quality of the work was phenomenal. Their team has a portfolio of work that is extremely high quality, so it's no surprise it turned out so great. I want to mention that I would share pictures to show you how beautiful our mural turned out to be, but it's something my fiancee and I have decided we enjoy keeping just between us.
If you want someone to create the painting or mural that you envision for your home, company, or public space, this is the team of artists you should choose. They were the best!

We reached out to Hattas Public Murals to paint a mural for our newborn son’s nursery. With a very special but also specific theme in mind, we were unable to find any traditional wall decor in stores that really matched our vision. That’s when we decided to commission a mural through a professional and quickly connected with Jeannine at Hattas Public Murals on Thumbtack. We received a lightning fast response, and were immediately impressed with her level of professionalism and accomplished portfolio. After a short on-site consult to take measurements and notes, Jeannine and her team got to work, sending mock-ups (and a few revisions) that brought our idea to life, but also within our budget.
The mural features a scene inspired from the book series (“The Prydain Chronicles”), a monogram, our son’s name, and a quote from the author. Our son, like the hero from the books is also adopted, so the concept behind the design was especially emotional. Jeannine listened to our story with so much compassion and understanding, we were absolutely confident the execution of the mural would be flawless.
Our instincts were spot-on. Once the final mock-up was approved, Hattas Public Murals delivered and installed a spectacular work of art that still brings tears to my eyes. In fact, calling it art is quite the understatement; it is an awe-inspiring and immersive experience. Everyone who has stepped into our baby boy’s nursery has been absolutely blown away, and are amazed by the love and care that can be found in every brush stroke.
We could not be more in love with this mural, and the pictures attached simply cannot do it justice. Best of all, it was painted on canvas and applied like wallpaper, so it can be moved, preserved, and treasured for many years to come. We cannot begin to thank Jeannine and her team enough for making our nursery the most special room in our home; with a one of a kind mural that is just as unique and beautiful as our son, Taran.
Not only will we recommend Hattas Public Murals to anyone and everyone for their creative decor needs, but we intend to commission Jeannine and her team for several future projects.
