FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine which is one of the most respected certifications within the Personal Training business. Aside from that I’m always looking to expand my knowledge through books, podcasts, courses, and attending certain seminars.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
At the age of 18 I stepped out of a doctor’s appointment completely scared for my life. My doctor had told me I had high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and was pre-diabetic. From then on I decided to start working out and learn the many ways of going through a proper workout. I managed to lose over 100 pounds and get my body back to healthy state. Friends would often ask for my assistance and I would gladly help. I learned that I enjoyed helping guide people on their fitness journeys and the joy they would get from their results just made me extremely happy. After that I looked into getting certified to do this work professionally and make of it a career.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice to people whom are considering to hire a trainer would be to never go based on looks. The beauty of this site is that it provides people with reviews of others’ past experiences with the professional. Look into the details of what a trainer offers and make sure to ask a lot of questions.
