The person you want training you isn't somebody who is genetically gifted and excelled because of natural talent. The ideal trainer is somebody who has had to work hard and train smart to become who they are as an athlete today. Nathan embodies the ideal trainer and coach. A combination of experience and trial and error in his own training have transformed into a training ideology that encompasses physical strength and durability of the body. Myself a competitive powerlifter, Nathan has helped me and trained me in the past to improve my endurance and work capacity not only to translate in the gym, but everyday life. I recommend Nathan for highly motivated individuals willing to work for their goals. Whether that be performing at a high level athletically, or simply staying mobile and improving your quality of life. He will work for you if you work for him!

Nathan helped me get started with working out based on my fitness level. As time went and I progressed he eased me into new workouts and encouraged me push myself. I live in IL and he lives in CA so it was a long distance training but that didn't matter we kept in contact and he made it fun and challenging. As time went on the more I started to love working out. He introduced me to weights and I never thought I could do weights. I am in my 40s and I had never lifted before. It didn't take long to get hooked. He also taught me how to eat right and portion control. In 2.5 months I had lost 20 lbs and within 10 months I had lost 52lbs. I have maintained that weight loss for 1.5 years now. I am 44.5 years old and I just competed in the Festivus games. My very first Crossfit competiion. I was competing against people half my age and I gave them a run for their money. Nathan truly cares about what he is teaching and showing you. If you just listen and take his advice you will see results. He taught me mobility, flexibility and safety. I highly recommend Nathan as a trainer. I still use him and I am feeling younger, stronger and healthier. Thank you Nathan. Keep up the good work.

I've always enjoyed working out, but I've only ever been comfortable doing cardio. It's always been easy to get my butt in the saddle at a spin class or even to go for a quick jog, but I've always been intimidated by trying to lift weights or doing any type of strength training alone because I didn't know where to start or if I was doing the workout correctly. Luckily, I don't have to worry about that anymore because I met Nate. When I first started working out with Nate I could barely do a push-up and even had trouble doing 10 sit-ups after a light jog. Now, I'm doing interval training - sprints, burpees, clean and jerks, and sit-ups for time. I've never felt better, and maybe it's easier because I've lost 50 pounds, but none of that would have happened without the help of Nate. If you are looking for a trainer that will not only meet you were you're at, but also push you to the next level, Nate's your guy. I never walk away from a session without beating a new goal, whether that goal is doing 2 more burpees than I thought I could or adding an extra minute in peak heart rate to my session. I'm only able to beat this goals because of the constant motivation Nate provides during our workouts. Also, he'll let you off easy if you get a tattoo and need to avoid certain workouts... (I got a Hello Kitty tat on my heart) But seriously, workout with Nate, oh, and he's fun to look at too. ;)

Nate is the best trainer I ever had. He mixes up the training, so I am constantly engaged. He has a great attitude and is passionate about his work. He shows up on time and is very flexible when I must adjust my schedule for work. In addition, I consider him a great friend.

Nathan is an awesome trainer. He has great knowledge of body mechanics and muscle function. The sessions are never routine and are planned out to work different muscle groups. The workouts are always challenging and focused on maintaining total body strength. Nathan definitely has a unique approach to training and is passionate about overall fitness. I highly recommend Nathan to help anyone achieve their personal fitness goals.
