Small bathroom remodel and removal of a wall with flooring and electrical repair. On time, as promised, fair price, will hire again. Easy to work with.
He did the job as described and was friendly the entire way. We needed him to remove some drywall and move the location of the sink. He also reconnected the dishwasher. If we have any future plumbing needs we will be calling him.
Miguel and Carlos were AMAZING! They did a Superb job on the removal of the Popcorn celiling in my dining room and the painting of my upstairs bathroom all in less than 8 hours!!! Very Professional, Punctual and Knowledgeable. I will definately recommend MC Drywall Construction and rehire them if I need more work done. This was done on a last minute notice (48hrs) and Miguel fit me into his VERY busy schedule! 100% satisfied customer. 😄Psssttt... Oh and the price can not be beat. Thanks~Christy

Kevin Ghazarian worked with me on a variety of prominent projects at my home. In all aspects from budgeting, design, planning and organization of the construction schedule, he was a tremendous asset. On each home improvement he displayed exceptional qualities of creative-problem solving, fortitude as a leader and task-master and attention to detail in design and craftsmanship. I am very pleased on how well the projects turned out, which is due largely to his professional contributions. Highlights of projects are described as follows: 1. Interior painting of several rooms and kitchen. The design motif was a traditional Tuscani color scheme. The original and uniquely beautiful architectural elements such as the curved kitchen cabinets, wordolf walls, crown mouldings, bay windows and fire place mantel pieces were individually painted separate colors. This was challenging in its multi color design and tedious attention to painting the details. In two rooms alone there were 15 different colors used, all of which had to be the perfect color and hue. 2. Installation of wood floors. A beautiful distressed antique wood flooring was installed in the kitchen, pantry, bathroom and large family room. This involved subfloor demolition, removal and replacement, and the detailed installation of wood flooring and moulding. The hard, back breaking work required a number of workers managed by Kevin. As a result, the work flow was systematically optimized and driven until the projects completion. Kevin was a relentless task master and has many skills as a talented worker. 3. Electrical rewiring of bathroom and hallway. The old wiring was faulty and insufficient and new wiring was pulled and replaced. All ceiling light fixtures, electrical outlets and switches were chosen and installed. A 3 way switch system was a necessity and was devised quickly and installed correctly to code by Kevin. This all required the knowledge and skill of a trained electrician. 4. Construction of exterior deck. This project involved much post production planning and design. Trek decking materials, sub deck foundations, metal piers, treated lumber of all sizes, and all the special screws and bolts needed to be estimated and purchased for this large construction project. Unlike a simple rectangular shape, this deck was complex in design with multiple angles, levels and steps. Cutting perfect angles and lengths of Trek decking were a necessity in order for this deck to turn out as provocative and beautiful as it did.
He was responsive and showed up on time , he was polite and they cleaned up after themselves. It wasn’t a big project ... just popcorn scraping in a closet , patching the walls and painting it to get ready for the organizers to install a shelves and Rods. They did a great job. I recommended him to my brother in law
Rudy removed popcorn ceiling from my house in a matter of 4 days. The project included 5 bedrooms, 6 closets, wet bar, 2nd floor hallway and ceiling over the stairs, living room, dining room, and entry way. After removing the popcorn, he then textured everything. He also removed 6 old 1970s style intercom speakers that were built into the walls, he patched up the holes and textured the patched areas. He was very patient, punctual, professional, and offered an amazing price. His work is clean as well, since he covers everything in plastic. He is very trustworthy as I gave him a spare key to my house, to work on while I was at work. I will definitely use his services again, and I highly recommend him.
Patio roof removal
Mr. Flores was professional and did a wonderful job removing the concrete in my yard. Would definitely hire again.
Contacted George with a list of projects I had in mind, but needed a price to see how much I could get done and what the costs would be. George came over to give me a quote and a breakdown of costs of each project and payment schedule, which I appreciated. We went ahead with the work. One of the bigger projects we had George and his team do was to knock down our existing patio and concrete and put up a new one. Old patio was 15' x 20' we did a new 15' x 40' patio. Very happy with the quality of work and the patio itself. Other projects include removing bulkhead and putting up new drywall, installing can lights, new roof, and putting up new doors. I was most impressed by two things - 1) the open communication between us, and 2) the professionalism and politeness from George and his workers. Even little hiccups were properly communicated and worked out. I will definitely be working with them again.
We hired Dan to do multiple projects around inside and outside of our home. He stained our back fence, he removed a large canvas canopy off side of our home, some patching and installing baby gates inside home, made bookshelves, and built an entirely new beautiful deck and handrail in our front yard for a great price. He was timely and professional and always communicated his progress. He was great with our dogs and our young toddler. We would definitely hire him again!
Hanging and removing Christmas lights. Responsive, showed up on time, did a good job and very professional. Reasonably priced. Would contact them again for other projects.
I contacted Ross for a rental home to check a leaky roof inside a bathroom facing the street and to check out electrical outlets that were not working. Ross is very professional, he showed up at the exact time he said he would, responded immediately to texts, answered my phone calls and my tenants said he was a nice guy. He was able to to fix the electrical outlets and found where the leak was in my roof the first day. Then came back, removed the rotting drywall and patched up the roof. I will definitely keep Ross's phone number for any work I need done.
Villegas Construction and Restoration did an amazing job with our ceilings. They had the popcorn ceilings in our 2,080 sq/ft home scraped, patched, orange peeled in two days. They were even willing to work through the Holiday weekend to help us stay on track. Extremely easy to work with, great communication and experienced. I'll be using them on other projects like crown molding in the near future. I would highly recommend them for any home improvement project.
I had him come to remove a ceiling fan and install a new ceiling fan and wall switch. Because did such a nice job, I had him remove and install two bath faucets one of which needed more repair than I thought. He also repaired my tub faucet which I knew needed lots of work. If I need anymore repairs, I will definitely call him.
Gerald did an awesome job of all the following for me: Installing granite kitchen countertops and back splashes;; Patching, priming, painting of multiple apartment units, Installing stainless steel sinks; Installing kitchen faucets, drains, water lines, Patching of exterior with matching colored plaster; Patching/replacing damaged interior walls (drywall); Scraping/removal/smoothing of "popcorn" ceilings!
We have hired Richard to remove acoustic ("popcorn") ceiling and to paint our interiors, as well as to patch holes left by our electrician (who is working in parallel). The work is in progress but Richard and his assistant have been excellent; the ceilings look fantastic (the acoustic ceiling is removed and they've sanded it down), and they are also very good about coordinating with the electrician to make sure they are using their time judiciously. Because of the quality of his work we've just hired him to finish our garage. We're looking forward to the end result!
Needed wallpaper removed on one wall then primed and painted! Terry was very professional and a joy to be around.. his work was fast and perfection.Tks Terry!
This was the first time that I had to hire someone for removal of my furniture. I reached out to Thumbtack and the I received the quote from Kenneth, which was the best quote that I had. When he came to haul away my furniture, it was a lot more than he expected and said that the charge was going to be double from what he quoted. Due to his persistence, he was able to haul everything away in one load!! I don't think other haulers would have been so conscientious. I would definitely use him again.
We hired Construction Owl to complete the remodel of our kitchen, including removing a load bearing wall between our kitchen and living room to create one large open space. From the moment we started the project with Construction Owl, we were knew we were in good hands. Guy Hazan is the main designer and contractor. He came to our house, listened to our ideas, and immediately "got" what we wanted to do. In that first meeting, he provided us with specific feedback that enhanced our original idea. Guy is smart, professional, enthusiastic, and kind. He's a wonderful professional, and an even better person. Guy's crew is as wonderful and professional as he is. Guy and his brother David oversaw all the work, from the demo and framing crew, to the fabulous electrician took care of all our requests, to the various crews who came to install the floors, cabinets, counters and tile back splash. Each crew was hard working, kind, thoughtful, and clean. Every detail was attended to, and every concern or question we had was addressed, above and beyond our expectations. Guy told us the project might take about 8 weeks, but incredibly, the project was completed in just over 6 weeks. And it was on budget. We are so very grateful to have found Guy and Construction Owl. We recommend them with highest recommendations, and are so grateful to Guy and his entire crew for their care of us and our home. We love our new space, and have Guy and his team to thank.
Great job! He just finished removing the ac unit and closing the wall up. He was really efficient and kept the place clean. I'll use him again!
