Hello,
My name is Rudy. I’m a private swim instructor from Cleveland, OH. The water is my second home, and I’ve made it my mission to teach as many people as possible how to be comfortable and confident in the water. I work with all ages, as early as three months old. I was on the swim team throughout middle and high school and my freshman year of college.
I’m a portrait photographer. I specialize in natural setting portraits, but I know my way around a studio. I like to get creative with lighting and utilize the vibrant colors!

I started taking lessons with Rudy a few months ago, and I can honestly say that he is an excellent instructor. When I first started, I had a pretty SIGNIFICANT fear of the water, but Rudy was patient and supportive, and he helped me overcome my anxiety in a way that felt safe and comfortable for me. I don’t know if my years of watching shark movies or my fear of a Titanic moment happening in life caused this, but I say all that to say that Rudy didn’t laugh off my anxiety and instead shared his own stories too which made the swimming lesson feel even more comfortable because it was being lead by a down to earth guy.
In addition to helping me get over my fear of the water, Rudy has also taught me some valuable swimming skills that I know will benefit me for the rest of my life. Learning how to swim is an important life skill that can help keep you safe in and around the water, and I feel much more confident and capable now that I have these skills under my belt.
Overall, I would highly recommend Rudy as a swimming instructor. He is patient, knowledgeable, and supportive, and I feel like I've made a lot of progress thanks to his guidance. If you're looking for a great swimming instructor who can help you build your skills and overcome any fears you may have, Rudy is definitely the person to work with!

Exceptional is the best word I can think of to describe the swimminglessons Rudolph gave my daughter. I hired him to teach my 1 year old how to swim and from the beginning he was very professional, patient, warm, and attentive. He took initiative and asked great questions to really get an understanding of my child and vision for my expectations with swimming. He explained the process and steps of the lessons so I too would have a better understanding of what to expect. On the day of swimminglessons he was prompt, and was intentional about building rapport with my daughter so that she felt safe with him in the water before the real lesson started. He was also very patient and attentive and could tell when she was fearful and did his best to help her stay calm. Many of my friends who I recommended Rudolph to expressed the same sentiments and thanked me for the recommendation. I 10/10 recommend hiring Rudolph for swimminglessons and I'm looking forward to hiring him again for baby #2 in the future.
