If you're looking for a roof company, stop looking! Denali Builders is who you want to hire for the job. Trust me, nobody is as picky as me and nobody does more research before buying than I do. Denali wasn't the cheapest and they weren't the most expensive. What they were was PROFESSIONAL! Sam was here everyday checking on his team. He answered every one of my calls and text messages. He was completely upfront with everything. There were no hidden cost added. He gave me my options and his recommendations and let me choose. No pushy car salesman tactics. It didn't take long to realize that with Denali you're dealing with a person that cares about HIS company, not a sales guy from a large company that cares about his commission check. Sam values his customers happiness. We had a small issue after the gutters and he quickly resolved it. I am very satisfied with my new roof. I've already used Denali for another job. (Insulation) Sam is not a salesman, he is the owner of a professional company that truly cares about your happiness with the job. You can hear the sincerity in his voice. If you are reading this review, it's because the many other good reviews already posted have whet your appetite for that roofer that most would agree is good! Anyone who does their due diligence before embarking on such a project will for sure encounter Denali Builders CA in the short list of almost perfect 5 star reviews. Sam did not earn my 5 star review easily. He sent drones up, ordered reports from a subscription from roof measurement company to get the most accurate measurement of my very complicated roof, he finagled with numbers, met with me twice, showed me samples of materials, photos of past and current jobsites... My roof job is not boring. Boring is good. Standard. Instead, mine is high pitched with many steeple like points ( at least 5). The pitch is 45 degrees. It's two stories, with nary a solid sheathing underneath. I like very much a contractor who looks at my roof like it's a strip dancer on a pole. No comments about difficulty. Just a sure fire, "can do" attitude. That's Sam. When you get many estimates for a prospective job, you get all kinds of character. I don't like people calling me, "hon". I don't like marketers who are only hired to promote and promise what can't be delivered. You will find, as I did, that Sam comes across as authentic, respectful. More importantly, he listens, especially when you've done your homework and know what you want on your roof. Sam will give you an estimate that's fair and backed 100% percent. Although he has the modern tools and technology to do his work, he's an old fashioned, "lay it to me", guy. Ask away! He's very easy to talk to. Licensed, bonded. I highly recommend!

It was great working with Sam and Denali Builders to install a new roof (~2000 sf). He was 1 of 3 bids I got and ultimately decided to go with Denali because of the good reviews and they were slightly cheaper than the other 2. Sam and I communicated a lot via text and phone to work on schedule considering we had tenants living in the house. He also sent me progress photos which I appreciated. They were in and out in a week and we have a new beautiful roof. Thanks, Sam and Denali Builders!

Denali replaced the roofs on our rental property and replaced the gutters. It turned out to be a lot more work than expected since the back house had 3 layers to remove and the front had 2 which is a major challenge. The crew completed the job with no issues. I appreciated the hard work and great attitude of the crew. Sam made sure that I was kept abreast of all issues found and ensured that they did not become problems. I definitely will keep them in front of the line for any new roofing work.

Never trust a roofer who will give you a price before they see the job.
We would come out to the project and check accessibility, measurements, talk to you about materials, layers on your roof, the color you want.
We do roofs that take 2 days, we have done roofs that take 3-4 weeks. All these factors will help us to create a contract that works for you and set a price. You won't have to worry about hourly or hidden fees. The price will not change.
