- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Handy Squad Handyman Masters have 5-10 years of experience but are new to Thumbtack. We want to create a large database of Thumbtack customers. That is why our prices are temporarily lower than those of our competitors. We offer limited time discounts as we want more new clients to be interested in our new Thumbtack account. We have a standard pricing algorithm for each service. Pricing depends on factors such as TV size, type of mount needed, wall type, need to hide wires in the wall or not, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Handy Squad interaction with new customers is very easy and quite simple. We first obtain basic information, such as what type of services needed and when, perform an estimate, and then work on the project at customers location.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There is no Handyman education, but there is a handyman experience. Our handymen have 5-10 years of experience. How would we describe a Handy Squad handyman? - Effective handyman, skilled and hard-working, with outstanding problem-solving abilities. Skillful hands, good physical stamina, and strong technical knowledge are important parts of the Handy Squad’s handymen profile . Handy Squad handyman’s requirements: • Proven experience as handyman. • Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment. • Basic understanding of electrical systems. • Basic math skills. • Good communication ability. • Well-organized and apt in problem-solving. • Attention to detail.
