Kelvin and Krista are the people you want on your team when it comes to dancelessons. My fiance and I have limited dance experience and was feeling nervous leading up to our first dance for our wedding. Krista and Kelvin put together a choreography that was not only suitable for our song but was executable. They were able to break down the choreography into bite sized pieces and provided guidance every step of the way. In addition, they are also highly responsive when you need them. Working with Kelvin & Krista at Your Night Choreo for our wedding dance was an absolute blast! Right from the start, they greeted us warmly, and their choreography was flawlessly tailored to our skills, making learning a breeze. Krista & Kelvin filmed the progress at the end of each class, so that we could continue to practice in our living room in between classes. This gave us something fun to do together as a couple to help get our minds off of wedding planning stress and just have fun! Wait, I can't dance. Or at least that is what I thought when my daughter told me we were doing a father-daughter dance at her wedding. Honestly, I was terrified. Fortunately, she found Krista & Kel at Night Choreo.Turns out, with the two best dance instructors in LA, I can learn to dance! Krista & Kel took us step-by-step (no pun intended) through a delightfully choreographed dance. Plus, it was a wonderful bonding experience with my daughter.The best part of the wedding dance - at the finale, we hugged and she whispered "I love you, Dad."

As a couple who rarely danced together, I had prior experience while my husband had none. However, the instructors at the studio made the learning process effortless and enjoyable for us. We felt completely at ease in their studio, and they tailored their teaching perfectly to our needs. Their patience, kindness, and genuine interest in us as a couple made the experience memorable. We highly recommend them to everyone, regardless of skill level. In fact, my husband was so inspired that he even returned solo to learn an exotic garter toss dance.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer many packages for couples to choose from. The more lessons you decide to take, the more discounted each session becomes. YNC offers single classes, and packs of 3,4,5,6,8,and 10 lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to get to know our couples first and foremost. We always offer a free phone or zoom consultation. This way we can understand your vision for your wedding and your dance. You can also meet us, we can answer any questions and ensure we are all on the same page moving forward.
A first lesson is always a foundation class. It allows us to start dancing with the couple in a way that is not overwhelming but highly productive. We teach moves we plan to use in the dance, but not in an overly choreographed way so we allow the couple to learn how to dance together first.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both professional dancers, Krista is a trained competitive dancer with background in Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Ballet. She was a pro dancer for the Arena Football League, is the former director of Premiere Dance, and currently teaches Dance and Fitness classes. Kelvin has trained and worked in New York City under the best instructors and choreographers in the world. He has worked as a choreographer and dancer for various recording artist and has worked in Film, TV and stage performances.
