Introduction: I shoot and take photos of natural, and real moments. I also edit in a different style than most mixing a classic film style with a modern clean texture and look. I love working with people, and creating photos that capture real moments that they can hang onto forever. To create a photo for someone that they will hang onto until they have grandkids and they want to show them that photo created years before, not one that is simply thrown in the trash.

Summary: Showed up 1 hr 40 min late to event. Was difficult to communicate with. Took VERY long to get the photos and videos back. Still hasn’t provided the (non-corrupted) video files. Event photography was sub-par. We decided to go with Dylan as his price was low and his portfolio looked great. After agreeing on a price everything went downhill from there. The day of our event: 10 minutes before our event started Dylan texts us that he will be late. He showed and 1 hour and 40 minutes after the event had begun (after threatening to not show at all if we deducted more than $25 pay). We paid in full at the event (minus the $25 for the 1 hr 40 min. ) It took 5 days to receive the photos, which would have been excusable. The photos were not at all to our liking but, then again the price fit the product. After repeated requests for the video footage (and getting no response) Dylan finally sent them over 10 days after the event, he somehow managed to corrupt them to a point that they can't even be viewed. After repeated requests and meeting with him, it's now been 2 months and he has yet to fix the the footage. We've accepted this as a loss learn moment. I will add that Dylan seems like a nice guy though responsible, professional or accountable he has proven not. (in our case ) I hope our case was a rarity, and that he excels in other parts of his craft but as far his Event photography and video go, consider this a costly cautionary tale.

Dylan was professional, punctual, and responsive. We reached out to him for group headshots, and he was able to accommodate our request the next day. He created a fun environment where we could take both professional and fun headshots. In less than a day, he was able to send us our photos. 10/10 would hire again!

Getting the details, and being able to start working as soon as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I previously attended the Academy of Art and have been doing photography and videography for 2+ years professionally.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started just taking photos on Instagram, then decided to go to school for photography at the Academy of Art University. While attending school there I also started interning with Instagram & Facebook at their HQ in Menlo Park as a Trends Analyst.
