My name is Shaunai, I completed my 200hr
RYT training and registered with yoga alliance as a certified yoga teacher in 2022. I teach vinyasa, hatha and gentle yoga, for everyone beginner to advanced.
I’ve taught ages 70 to 7, I’m very comfortable with teaching anyone.
I’ve worked in studio settings, outdoor spaces and even at flea markets. My favorite format by far has to be private / small groups, because it allows me to truly connect with and understand the needs of who I’m teaching.
I teach with the intention of leaving my students feeling more connected to themselves and in alignment, both physically and mentally.
In winter 2024 I completed a 12 hour trauma informed course, which helps me to tailor classes to individuals who may need extra attention when it comes to the possible physical and mental triggers that may come up in a yoga session.
I have an athletic background, primarily track and field as a sprinter. I took my first yoga class at 16, almost 15 years ago. I became most consistent with it in my 20s and found that it was an essential part of my grounding practice just for getting through the day to day. I decided to start teaching to help others ground themselves and challenge themselves in a present and healthy way.
