Adval Construction made the remodel process seamless and straightforward. We found the company on the Thumbtack app. Andy responded right away to our inquiry and a quote was given the same day as his visit. Andy was very responsive to our follow up questions. Andy was helpful when we met him at The Granite Store to pick out flooring and shower walls. We appreciated the 18 month interest free financing. The interest free financing was a good selling point for us. We were told it would take approximately 2 weeks to complete our small guest bathroom project once we procured all of our materials. They were able to complete the project to our satisfaction within two weeks. We absolutely love our new bathroom! Alan, Pedro, Patrick, Jorge, Alex and the entire team were very professional and provided quality workmanship. Patrick, the project manager, went out of his way to find backsplash material to match the vanity top we purchased. The team communicated well during the job and would ask our opinion on the placement of materials. The team would tell us what time they would arrive the following day and what they would be working on. We felt the communication was excellent. We also appreciated the daily clean up by the workers before they left our home each day. When the job was done, we received calls to ask if we were satisfied and if we needed anything else. This is the 4th major home renovation project we’ve undertaken and we have to say this was by far our best experience. We’ve already recommended Adval Construction to friends and we would definitely hire them again.

After 23 years in our home, my wife and I finally made the decision to upgrade our master bathroom. There was a MASSIVE bathtub/shower that took up a lot of space and neither of us like baths. So we wanted to remove the tub and install a shower unit. In addition, we really wanted to upgrade the overall look, including fixtures, lighting, john, etc. After getting designs and estimates from several contractors and not feeling terribly satisfied by any of them, we contacted Andy Fernandez at Adval Construction in Martinez. We hit it off right away. Andy understood what we were looking for and what we could get done on our budget. He worked with us every step of the way from the design to completion. He took us to his supplier and showed us the literally hundreds of options out there, and rather than letting us get anxious over the decisions, he was able to use his knowledge in design to guide us to the things he thought we would be most satisfied with. And he wasn't wrong. From Day 1, his crew was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and informative. Any questions we had were promptly answered by Debbie, who handled scheduling for them. She patiently explained how each step of the remodel would go and answered all our questions. And the crew was really unobtrusive. We were afraid there would be a lot of noise that might freak out our cats, but quite the contrary. One of our cats actually liked to watch them work! So, to conclude, if you are thinking about remodeling any room in your home, I cannot recommend Andy and Adval Construction any more highly.

Adval repaired some cabinets and refinished cabinet doors as well as the front door. The cabinets and front door are greatly improved. Adval staff are responsive and pleasant to work with.
