This was the first time that I've ever trained my own dog and also my first puppy. Dan is AMAZING!!! He's a great person, a great communicator, and a great teacher. He explains dog training in an easy to understand manner and instills a lot of confidence into both the humans and the dog. I could not imagine a better puppy and puppy owner trainer.

Hiring Dan was the best decision I could have made for my dog and I. It’s not magic (though it seemed like it in the beginning), you have to put in the time and effort. But Dan gives you the skills to work with your dog…to Communicate in a way that they understand so that they respond the way you want them to. He’s also really great about responding if you have questions outside of your training period. It isn’t cheap, but it’s an investment you won’t regret. I’d give him ten stars if I could!

Dan is THE BEST! Much patience and love was devoted to us and our Golden Retriever, Ginger. More than just training her, Dan ensured that we as owners understood the concepts involved. To this day, I still remember Dan's golden rule of the 4 things your dog can be distressed with - It saved me on several occasions!

Dan is a wonderful trainer. He is very patient and not only does he train your dog, he also teaches you on how to train your furbaby! I love the fact that he is super responsive, even when I have random questions anytime. Would totally recommend him! He also makes sure to organize pup socials which really help a dog with the socializing skills! It is worth the money to have your pup trained sooner than later ! :)

After interviewing several dog trainers, we decided to work with Dan due to his philosophy and the ability to train in person. It has been a wonderful experience and Winston is now able to execute commands such as "sit", "down", "leave it" "stay" and "come here". Dan is really teaching us how to handle the dog and techniques to drive the behavior outcomes we want. He even hosted a dog social with his small dog clients to help socialize them which has been tough in this COVID-19 time. I also love how Dan incorporates the whole family into our sessions and patiently answers all our questions. I have really learned a lot and am so pleased with our progress. Stop looking and call Dan!

Training Session Packages are available - sessions never expire and booking is dynamic, whenever you and your pup are ready for your next training session.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We introduce every new client to the essentials of how our dogs think and behave! We use hands-on learning to teach you not only how to understand your pup’s behavior, but also to be able to form patterns of success which lead to great, long-lasting positive behavior for the rest of their lives.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve studied Positive Reinforcement Training Methods for 6 years, including the teachings of Dr. Ian Dunbar. I’ve trained hundreds of pups (and their people!) how to have healthy, fulfilling, happy behaviors & relationships for the rest of their lives.
