Bryan was an incredible help for our project. He was swift in responding, on-time, communicative and very diligent with his work. Our drywall couldn't have been finished better.

Hired on Thumbtack

Brian did work on my house to make entrances from square to arch shape. He was very responsive at first to get the job done and worked to do it. Unfortunately at the end, the work dried and we noticed the details were not up to par (there were edges that were uneven, more sanding needed to be done, and better attention to complete the work from 90% -> 100%). We reached out to Brian, it took him several days to respond with explanations from him that he couldn't come back for a variety of excuses/reasons and would come back later. Finally, he ghosted us after we checked-in twice more to see if he'd come back to finish the job. Unfortunate that this happened and posting as a warning as we had to hire someone else and pay extra to finish off his work.

Wallfinish.cons's reply
Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad I was able to be responsive and complete the main transformation you requested for the entrances, but I also want to clarify some important context. When I arrived, the project involved plaster rather than standard drywall, along with pre-existing poor wood framing conditions that I clearly communicated to your husband from the start. It was originally framed in a way that created a sharp angle instead of a rounded one. I took the time to correct it properly to achieve the right result. I also fixed uneven walls at no additional cost. Despite those unexpected challenges, I still moved forward and completed the job as requested. I took the time to improve the work and was transparent about how those conditions could affect finishing details throughout every step. I checked in before proceeding, and the work was approved along the way. I understand your frustration, but I want to make it clear that I never ignored or “ghosted” you. I clearly communicated the situation I was dealing with at the time and even provided video proof to keep you informed and avoid misunderstandings like this. Service was not refused at any moment. I was the one who told you that if there were any issues, you could contact me at any time. All I asked was for patience with the situation I was dealing with at that time. This project is a reminder that clear expectations on both sides matter. I completed the job I was hired to do, was paid in full, and the work was approved throughout the entire process. At no point was the project left unfinished or abandoned. Your husband oversaw the project, and since he was the primary person managing all construction taking place in your home, he approved each stage and signed off on the completed work. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. This experience is valuable feedback and will absolutely help me improve and grow for future business

Bryan did an amazing job, I’m super impressed his professionalism and quality of work. The drywall repair came out perfect—you can’t even tell there was damage before. He was professional, on time, clean, and clearly experienced. The texture matched perfectly and the finish looks brand new. I highly recommend him and will definitely hire him again. Having someone you can trust with home repairs is so important, contact Bryan for the best!
