FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask you to fill out whats called a PAR-Q (physical activity readiness questionnaire). This is a standard form that, depending on your answers, tells you whether or not you should check with your doctor before you start or continue your exercise program. I ask you what your goals are. Then I do some assessments to see what else you need to work on. Unless you have specific concerns/goals, it is my professional opinion that most people need to include these components in their program. 1) Overall strength: I like exercises that move a lot of your body at the same time. It gives you more bang for your buck and better results overall. 2) Core integrity: your midsection that provides you with strength and stability from the inside out. Having a strong and stable core is crucial! 3) Balance and coordination: this you get automatically with my workouts because we wont be using a lot of machines. 4) Flexibility: I will figure out where you need it and incorporate it if necessary. Cardiovascular endurance: your heart and lungs! If you dont do this on your own, we can incorporate it into the training program.
