From start to finish and all of the details in between, we create the perfect event for our clients, letting them relax and enjoy their special day. Because we are a group of artists, we can help you realize your dream, from photo booths and floral to catering and lighting. Linens and chairs to marquee signs, we do it all and we do it fabulously! What we enjoy most about what we do is the moment when it all comes together. When someone is planning your party, your wedding, or any day that is special to you, it's a no brain-er that you don't want them to screw it up. We all know that when a party is bad, it's the host(ess)'s fault, not the party planner. There is no better representation of who you are than The Fabulous Event People. Janey spends time getting to know you and who you are, what you like, and what you want to do before anything begins. She asks smart questions and doesn't make you feel dumb. I worked with Janey on organizing an event and found her to always come to the table with interesting ideas, great ways to save money and exceptional problem solving skills. No matter how difficult the situation got while we were planning, she always had a smile on her face and calm demeanor. She is the all encompassing head hunter, wrangler, researcher, Rolodex, and the person you sometimes wish wasn't so awesome!

Wow! That is all I can say about this company! Janey and her crew seem to do an amazing job at EVERYTHING! I didn't use The Fabulous Event People for my wedding, but I have been to a couple of weddings that did. The wedding planning was very detailed and thoroughly executed! I don't usually notice logistic details when I attend weddings but the few that I have seen have been amazing! Hard not to notice! Most recently I did, however, use The Fabulous Event People for a baby shower. "Clearly" there isn't a job too large or too small for these amazing people! As far as event planning goes, they are second to none! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have a good time, for any occasion! Need an event planner? What about a wedding planner? This is your one-stop shop!

My daughter was set on planning her own wedding until just about two months before the big day. At that point she realized the enormity of the task and told me she wanted to hire a coordinator. I will admit I was skeptical. Thank goodness she insisted and that she found Janey of The Fabulous Event People. There was way more to keep track of than any working person could manage. I found myself calling and emailing them almost everyday as the wedding got closer. Janey met with us at the venue and went through it step by step, literally walking the event just as our guests would and then just as the wedding party would. Her attention to every detail was amazing! They were with us until the venue was cleaned and closed up with no complaint, only kindness, clear thinking, and a sense of humor! If I had another wedding to plan, I would hire them from day one!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to find out a little about them and their needs along with the basic details about their event. Chatting on the phone is the best way for us to give the best quote as we do offer so many different services and we like to talk through everything to ensure we meet all the clients needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have a combined experience of 50 years as a team in the event industry ranging from theater production, kitchen management, catering, event coordination, and fine art.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We started out withThe Fabulous Party People which is a party planning company for children's birthday parties with character and mascot rentals. We started The Fabulous Event People 2 years later in order to accommodate all types of events from weddings and get-togethers to corporate events.
