DJ Dan was awesome!!! Our party was a great success because he was our chosen DJ. He played music from play lists, from requests and watching the crowd he played what he felt would keep the party moving. Everyone loved him! His lights and set up were top notch! His pricing was great and he even worked with me on a solo project aside from the party. I would highly recommend DJ Dan and if he is available, he will always be my DJ of choice! THANK YOU DJ DAN!!
So far I am happy with the knowledge that David has regarding his knowledge as a pianist. My son is really impressed with his playing and is wanting to really learn to play like Mr. Foster. We are looking forward to seeing the results with our son later as he continues to progress with his lessons. We are very anxious and excited. Thank you to Mr. Foster for accepting my son as one of your students.
So great! Made the party! Great guitarist and can play and sing anything. Such a nice guy. Would definitely hire again.
"I had guitar lessons with the Guitar Institute of Learning for a little over 3 years, and those years were the first 3 years I had in my experience of ever playing the guitar. I learned so much from my teacher. He taught me Jazz Standards, folk songs, and even things that were accommodated to my own interests as well! More importantly, I gained a life changing perspective from the songs, chords, melodies and harmonies that my teacher taught me. The concepts never get old. Guitar Institute of Learning does not just teach you how to play guitar, but how to practice it and how to become a great musician. It can be one thing to play an instrument, but to know how to play with other musicians requires a development of playing with others and applying your knowledge. Which is what guitar institute of learning can help you do. Everything I learned from GIOL literally changed my view and appreciation for music once I became more aware of the music world. I learned things that, once I looked back and realized what I was learning, I was so surprised and grateful that I was shown such great songs. I will always have a gratitude for the class and vast repertoire that they had opened me up to. As a musician, now playing guitar for 8 years, I would not be where I am today without those lessons. Knowing how important practicing everyday is, and finding how you define music will help you find an appreciation and motivation from and beyond these lessons." -Lawrence S. Abbott
Promoted Rock & Hops festival for the Tap Room Pub & Grub. Very professional. Handled permits, music, sound, lighting etc..... The event went very smooth thanks to the help of FM Concerts. I would highly recommend their services.
Jerry is an enthusiastic, skilled, young violin teacher, tirelessly going the extra mile each time, with violin lessons for my daughter. With his highly motivating, fun and skilled gestures, he builds confidence to perform better.
Larisa Smirnova is an outstanding harpist and pianist, she has performed for both piano and harp in several events I have attended, she is well versed in many styles of music, she is good with improvisations, and reading music, but above all she brings music, people and events to life, she is timely and very professional in all her dealings.
Tim played a solo set for my girlfriend and I on Valentine's Day. He was very accommodating and even went the extra mile to make sure our night was perfect. The music was perfect and Tim was extremely talented. I would highly recommend him and his band any time!
DalRae is an amazing teacher. She really thinks about how to teach and tailors her instruction to your level. She comes up with exercises that are not only fun and instructive, but also designed to help you understand musical concepts and progress in your playing. The fact that she is not only a classical musician, but also plays in a tango quartet is an added bonus, as it gives her an perspective that other strictly classical musician won't have (as I learned in our conversations). I have had several music teachers over the years, but DalRae is by far the best. Highest recommendations!
Like I said before, I've been playing guitar for a very long time so I would be a really good choice. I also play both acoustic and electric so I can teach either. Plus, I can teach your child their favorite songs, scales, chords and all that great stuff! Thank you and I hope to meet you and your child soon!
Amy is awesome last time I played a instrument was in middle school and that was a clarinet so in terms of learning a string instrument like a violin I was nervous but Amy was always supportive, patient, and creative in her way to teaching me. I can say her neat tricks to strengthen my fingers were convenient for me as Im a student and have pencils and pens near me. I also received a lot of help and advice from her from re-learning to read music to how to work a tuner and of course how to operate my violin. I loved having Amy's help and would love to recommend other people to get her as a instructor. It was nice working with her and I'll miss her tons as I head on my solo journey to discover the violin. 😄😄😁
I play mainly sappy love songs. I just want to get heard and just make music. It is my goal and passion. Please give me a call for additional information. Thank you.

I am a versatile violinist with a background in classical, rock, and folk music. I have studied with classical and folk teachers and am working on a master's in violin performance at SFSU, studying under Zak Grafilo, the first violinist of the world-class Alexander Quartet. In addition, I write music for my own band and work as my own manager, promoter, and visual artist. I have experience in recording my own music as well as other musicians' work. I also play guitar, piano, sing, and dabble on the banjo. As a teacher, I've coached youth rock bands and taught private lessons to children and adults for many years. I currently work as one of the top teachers at Music N Beyond, teaching violin, piano, and guitar.
