We handle everything from hazardous tree removal and precise tree trimming to clean stump grinding, storm damage, and preventative care that keeps your property safe year-round.

For years, we’ve also provided free aerial cat rescues throughout Modesto and the surrounding communities. When a family’s pet is stuck and scared high in a tree, we help.

I'm only going to rate them based on my first experience.James showed up at my house and gave me a great price for the work I needed done and they showed up when scheduled and completed the job as professionally as possible and the tree climber was amazing.And as promised the clean up was good,tree limbs and branches were cut to size and the city removed them. As for the 2nd time I used them they weren't as good maybe because James was injured but they didn't do the job as professionally as promised when I tried to resolve the problem and I told it was going to cost me another $500.00 and that's where every thing changed so please get in writing what your expectations are and what they are responsible for doing and how if a problem arises who is financially responsible. Best of luck

These guys are a "class act". Quick to respond and very professional. Delivered a competitive bid and scheduled and completed the job on short notice. They also took the time to educate me a little on tree care and maintenance. The team cleared out several trees in my front yard (including a palm) and left the yard nicer than they found it. I would highly recommend Mackman's tree care and will use them for all my future needs. DID YOU KNOW that Mackman's also offers a free cat rescue service. Yes, true story. When the Fire department is too busy and your beloved cat is stuck in the tree, this team will come out and rescue at no charge. They do this out of kindness and a service to the community (back to a "class act).

A few years ago our kitten was stuck in a tree all night, during a horrible rain storm I started looking for CAT RESCUE SERVICE and someone told me about Mackmans Tree Care, it was very late at night, maybe very early morning I left a message on their phone.1st thing in the morning probably 7:30am James Mackman returned my call.With the wind and rain storm they were buried in work, but they prioritized Rescuing our Kitten, they showed up about an hour later and even with some wind and light rain, they climbed out neighbors tree and rescued our Kitten.I can't tell you how impressed I am by them, they put aside their work for a few hours, to RESCUE our kitten, and then I asked how much, and I couldn't believe James when he told me they don't charge for their CAT RESCUE SERVICE.So this week when I decided it was time to get out Palm Tree removed, I made one call and received a very reasonable price quote and asked James when they could do it, and surprisingly they were able to do it today.I'll tell you what, these guys are GREAT!If you want professional, skilled, reliable, caring, service,and maybe even some good Karma, give Hackman's Tree Care a call.You will not regret it.They saved my cat, they cut down my tree , and they proved there are still some very good people in this world.

These guys are awesome! Very reasonable pricing. Super friendly and great customer service. Would highly recommend to anyone. They removed 2 redwoods from my front yard and did and amazing job. Very professional.
