StarPup Training specializes in teaching owners how to remove barriers to obedience and communicate with dogs without using words. With a family-friendly approach, we focus on getting to know each dog as an individual so as to provide a personalized training experience. Ultimately, we want to help owners to understand how to get dogs to exhibit desired behaviors, while helping dogs to retain what they've learned!

It was wonderful working with Keren. We worked with her to help us train our two senior Shih Tzu mixes. Keren is kind, patient, and so skilled at what she does. We learned so many great tips and tricks to help our dogs grow their confidence, understand new commands, and feel more comfortable living in their new environment. Most importantly, our dogs loved her! I would recommend her to anyone looking for help training their dog 🐕

We have been working with Keren for a few weeks now training our dachshund. She is extremely knowledgeable and always has multiple strategies to any issues that arise. She has tailored our training towards our end goal which is for our pup to be a therapy/service dog for our son with Autism. She sends an email after every session with very detailed notes and tips for continuing our training during the week. She is even so kind to include a cool informative video for my son to watch in every email. She includes him in training and is so kind and patient with him!

I had a terrific experience with StarPup Training, and I think my dog would agree. Our trainer made each session productive, then provided a follow-up review with supplementary material (articles, videos). Each lesson was tailored to my dogs needs and my perceived issues. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My training price is the best deal you'll find for a 100% positive reinforcement trainer (or any trainer for that matter) in San Bernardino County. Each of my training sessions includes a step by step instruction email of the session had with videos. I offer Discounts a few times a year. With StatPup Dog Training, you're not locked into a contract (though a two lesson minimum is required). I offer three (3) payment plans/options for all clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free phone consultation in which we discuss- the reason for seeking a trainer, areas the caretaker wishes to target, and possible underlying causes of the dogs behavior so we can build a plan to address the behavior. If, however, you are looking for boarding or house sitting, I offer a free meet-and-greet before the stay.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
StarPup Dog Training was founded in 2022. However, my passion for dog training came much earlier. I've volunteered my talents with local for-profit and non-profit organizations. I've trained dozens of dogs for free weather it's family dogs, dogs that belong to strangers or friends. By utilizing the method to train "the dog in front of me," I have been able to train different breeds, sizes, ages. Like humans, there are no two dogs that are the exact same, why then should we have a cookie cutter approach to training?
