I had nothing but a great experience, and my court documents were served the very next day, after the Sheriffs tried 3 times over a month. The location of the defendant in my case was quite far from where AJ legal is based, so I was surprised how fast they delivered.

I hired AJ legal to serve and file proof of service with the court and in the beginning everything went well. It took Jesse Guerra 7 days to serve the defendant. I hired him on June 18 and on June 25th the defendant was served He communicated with me and kept me informed. Then when it was time for him to file proof of service with the court all of a sudden it became a very stressful situation. On June 25th Jesse said proof of service would be in by the end of the day, I checked with him on June 27th to see if it was filed and he never responded. I followed up on June 28th and Jesse stated it had not been filed but he’s doing it today. I checked with him Friday June 29th (again!) and he said it wasn’t filed yet but he’s doing it today or Monday (July 2) at latest. I check in on Monday and he ignores all my attempts to contact him, email as well. I check in with Jesse on Tuesday July 3rd now (with my court date approaching) and he ignores all of my text messages all day till the evening when I receive a text from his cell phone with someone saying they’re name is Ricky, and Jesse said paperwork was filed. I called the courthouse July 5th to verify and the clerk said no paperwork was filed. This is such a headache and it shouldn’t be. Going to court is stressful enough and Jesse only amplified the stress. I know there are “some” good reviews on here and I made the decision to hire this company based on the good reviews and ignored the bad ones. Please DONT DO WHAT I DID! I just want the damn paperwork filed, that’s all! I want proof it was filed because Jesse’ word is obviously useless. I want honesty. Just don’t hire these people! There are other process servers you could hire that will get the job done in a timely manner and they won’t ignore you or only get half the job done. Save yourself, find someone else!

Jesse was amazing! They are fast and efficient. We are out of state doing an adoption and we needed to serve the biological father. they found him in no time and served him. If you need to use a serving company, you want to use them. they are fantastic.

I met Jesse as I was leaving the filing window at Stanley Mosk. He told me he was a registered process server and I let him know about a case i had where I had a bit of difficulty serving the defendant. He gave me his card and after I contacted him to work the rest of the details out, he had my defendant served in my case within 2 days. He took ownership of my case as if it was his own and expeditiously got the job done!!
