Superb follow-ups, excellent teamwork. Tom made sure no mis-communications occurred, crew & Tom worked through days of, at times, heavy rain & wind to completion of two-story full roof replacement. All material costs were faithfully included in original cost estimate. We could not have asked for finer performance.....

Tom has been fantastic to work with. He is down to earth, up front and extremely professional. He is easy to contact and answers all calls and texts promptly. He and his crew did an outstanding job replacing our roof with dimensional shingles and installed a solar powered attic fan as well. When we asked him about terracotta tiles, he advised against it which demonstrated his integrity. Our roof looks great. They do an excellent clean-up job, too. I would highly recommend Tom to anyone in need of a new roof. Thanks, Tom!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I really didn't choose the profession...the profession chose me! My Dad was a forty year roofing veteran & when I was honorably discharged from the Army in 1988, I went to work for my Father & never looked back. I have done multiple jobs on most military bases to include March ARB, Fort Irwin, Lemoore NAS, 29 Palms MLB, Norton ARB, Edwards AB & others. I was schooled & instructed by the intense inspections & protocols used on these Military Bases to perform acceptable methods of roofing. It is here that I learned to be efficient & proactive in my approach to providing an outstanding roof product. Not many residential roofers can match their resume with mine & it shows in the finished product they offer.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Real simple answer to this question. Don't hire Fakes & Flakes. Unlicensed & uninsured hacks posing as roofers. It's an insult to my trade first of all and dangerous for the homeowner to let these idiots on their roofs. When a guy shows up to your home posing as a roofer and he has paint spilling all over his truck, pretty good indicator he is NOT a roofer. All it takes is one slip on a roof with these losers & the homeowner is on the hook for an injury lawsuit.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I am a 2nd Generation roofer & I believe I was taught by the best, My Father. I don't know of any roofers who could produce like my Dad did, today, myself included. He was that fast. Secondly, Roofing is inherently dangerous. I've seen many great roofers injured, usually due to overconfidence or indifference to job site conditions. My advice is to make sure that the roofer you hire is competent & licensed with insurance. Don't gamble on the unlicensed hacks.
