Anne was such a lovely person to work with. I booked Anne without ever talking with her on the phone and just relied on texts and pictures alone because I got a good vibe. I did not do a trial and I am almost 37 years old without botox or fillers. In my day-to-day life I usually wear very light makeup. When Anne first put photo-ready makeup on me, I freaked out a little bit. I was so used to wearing minimal makeup to minimize lines and look like the “clean girl” so I was not used to seeing my face looking so glam and dramatic. Anne was so kind and so calm in response to my concers. She de-intensified my make up in some places but she also encouraged me to understand that more dramatic or “heavy” makeup would look much better in pictures and last throughout the day. I’ll managed to curl my hair in giant Hollywood waves in a way that stayed pretty for a 9 hour day in San Francisco intermittent rain. I feel so so lucky that I worked with her and she was able to both respond to my concerns and give me good advice. I just got our photos back and I cannot believe how beautiful I look. I really cannot thank her enough. She is also just such a cool and interesting person to talk to and such a calm voice of reason on a day that you might be nervous!

Anne did a great job on my make up. Most importantly she was flexible and listened to feedback. Initially some of my make up elements didn't come out exactly as I envisioned but Anne jumped in quickly, made corrections and worked with me to get to final result which was stunning. I sent her a few inspiration photos of Thai makeup, and people were telling me all evening that I looked very Thai and very beautiful. I also LOVED how it showed up on photos! She also did my hair and it was exactly what I had wanted and didn't move an inch the entire night! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first like to determine if they have any looks in mind then we come up a look that best suits them based on the type of event also taking into consideration if the client wants a glam look or is more comfortable in a more subtle/natural look.
I also like to find out about any skin sensitivities or allergies.

Yes, i am certified in bridal and HD makeup for special events, highlighting, contouring, and isolation eyebrow technique,color matching, color correcting and hyper-pigmentation.
