Personal Chef

Sydney came for a 30th birthday party. Absolutely fit our vibe for our small dinner party and delivered a delicious tapas menu. She was very responsive and took into consideration everyone’s preferences. She got the birthday boy involved with some of the chef duties and didn’t leave without showing us a couple knife skills. Very appreciative! Thank you Sydney!

Personal Chef

We hired Sidney for a family celebration dinner and will certainly hire her again. She was flexible about what we wanted to eat and easy to work with. We went back and forth a few times because everyone in our party had different requests. We eventually settled on tapas. We ate and drank al fresco in the backyard and loved each dish she brought out. All our dishes were definitely good enough to be served at any high end restaurant. Charcuterie is a must. Ahi poke was super fresh. Two different kinds of crab cakes that were to die for and shrimp panzanella. She trained at cooking school in Paris and was so much fun. Definitely something we will do again and again

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing varies depending on the type of ingredients the customer is interested in. Negotiation is always an option! Drop off: Standard ingredients = $30-70/Person Premium Ingredients = $80-90/Person On Sight/Service needed= Standard ingredients= $50-70/Person Premium Ingredients = $80-120/Person Cooking classes are $80/Hour per person Recurring classes are discounted

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

It is always exciting for me to meet a new client. Each client is unique and I like to treat them for their individual desires. When working with a new customer my first question I ask is if the client has any food allergies. After we establish what can and cannot be cooked, I like to ask the client what their desired meal is, how many guests will be attending, and what type of ingredients are important to them. After this is established, I can make a menu that I hope will fulfill their vision. I am never offended if the client does not like what I’ve proposed, I will make necessary alterations in order to ensure their dream meal is achieved.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 3 years of college education in Culinary Arts, graduating on the president’s honor roll with a GPA of 3.8. Since then I have over 8 years of professional experience. My training has been through the various jobs and clients I have worked with, although I’m a lifelong learner and my training and education continues to grow everyday through reading, experimenting and traveling to other countries to broaden my palette.
