- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Discounts will always apply when booking 5 or more lessons. More lessons = steeper discounts. I will not allow you to book more lessons then are required for the speech. It’s not good for business to waste your time. Writing/editing services can be part public speaking coaching. 24 hour cancellation policy applies. I will give a refund if services are not given. No refunds on services rendered. Open to trading services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually chat on the phone to determine what exactly is needed. Then I’ll set an expected lesson plan. The customer will approve the lesson plan. Then we get to work. We can adjust on the fly if things move slower or faster than expected.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been a speech coach for 7 years. Over the last four years, the team I coach has won an unprecedented 4 state and national championships in a row. I’ve been to countless conferences and trainings. And I teach public speaking, argumentation and performance at OCC. Private speaking lessons are markedly different because they are (usually) focused on a particular event. That is my specialty. Wedding speeches, conferences, gala’s, charity events- these are all opportunities to shine, and I have trained dozens of people.
