We are very happy with JimmyTax. We always end up paying a lot in taxes and Jimmy went through all our documents in detail and was able to bring down the tax owed by a significant amount. Jimmy was very prompt and professional in his provision of services. I have always filed my taxes on my own, but with life getting slightly more complicated I decided to find someone to do the job for me. Jimmy was prompt in providing an estimate, beat out the competition on price, was thorough in his inquiry to help me pull everything together, and had an amazingly quick turnaround at the height of tax season. On top of it all, he is getting me much more on my return than I thought I would be getting based on my own estimations.

This was a very difficult year. Out of fear I made some bad financial decisions, which is why I asked for help with my complicated taxes. Recently I have found myself asking “How will I ever recover from this?”
Jimmy was incredible! He was super professional and clear. I tried very hard to be succinct and not drag him down my rabbit hole of emotions, and at every moment I felt complete respect from him.
He found solutions to my tax problems that I didn’t know existed and might never have found without him! He saved me from restarting my life with thousands of dollars of debt.
On top of all of that, he made the process incredibly easy to do! The form was so clear and simple and quick to fill out. And he was responsive and quick himself once he had the necessary information and documents. And he’s very adorable and stuck by his price!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am looking for long term clients, therefore, in an initial year of service, I will typically keep the invoice low in order to demonstrate the quality of my service, follow through and delivery. I have found this to create strong good will and as result see the majority of my clients return the following years.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon our initial exchange of communication I will forward the prospective client an email with a link that when accessed, will take them to a questionnaire and client portal. This is where all information can be conveyed, and the necessary documents can be uploaded in an encrypted, and secure way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a licensed and bonded tax preparer, I am required to maintain annual continuing education standards. These ongoing courses include compliance and ethics, in addition to the ongoing changes in the tax code.
