- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do normally start at $400 base rate for the day. I do work with budgets as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically start a with a quote, then a phone conversation or meeting up with a new customer. I want my new customers to feel comfortable and confident in their new chef! :) After I get a clear understanding of the service they want, I type up a proposal and send via email. Once a confirmation from all parties is received, we move forward onto a great event. :)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have done a lot of work in music and film industry. I have lots of friends who knew of my skills in the kitchen and once word got around town I started getting booked like crazy. Thats how I got the opportunity to have such a nice amount of high end clients.
