My ballroom dance training comes from Utah and Los Angeles, including extensive training from World Champions and professional dancers on the tv show Dancing With the Stars. I also toured with the Utah Ballroom Dance Company performing and instructing Dancing With YOUR Star shows in different communities up and down the West Coast. I performed in over 60 shows during that tour.
I love giving people confidence in themselves and helping them accomplish their goals, whether it be for fitness, fun or competition! Dancing also creates lasting relationships and a healthy lifestyle and I aim to bring that to each of my students.

I'm so glad I found Jenn! She's a great teacher: she's (very) patient, supportive, and knows how to guide you. Each class covers fundamentals, but Jenn makes sure to keep it fun and engaging too, mixing in different styles. I'm building confidence and enjoying the process. I had such a wonderful experience learning from Ms. Jenn. She is incredibly patient and truly knowledgeable about dance. Jenn was a wonderful instructor and helped my husband an me create a routine for our wedding dance. My husband and I took six dancelessons with Jenn ahead of our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. We’re definitely not natural dancers, and we wanted a choreographed routine that was elegant, easy to follow, and still felt special. Jennifer delivered exactly that, and our first dance ended up being a complete surprise to our guests!
We were amazed by how much we learned in just the first lesson, and each session helped us refine the routine more and more. Jennifer even edited our song to perfectly match the choreography. She was incredibly accommodating with scheduling and made the entire process stress-free.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I introduce new customers to the basics of a few dances and from there they can decide which dance suits them best.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue to go on tour with the Utah Ballroom Dance Company to keep my knowledge up to date! I also get daily training from 2-time World Champion, Elena Grinenko.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I figure skated for 7 years and once I retired I still had the desire to perform. I took a ballroom dance class and got hooked! It changed my life and it can change yours too!
