With over 20 years of experience behind the kit, and a degree from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, you are getting the information and education from the best in their craft. I just started my drum lessons with Rafael and I am very excited to work on perfecting my craft! He took the time to ask questions about what I am hoping to receive from his lessons and immediately came up with a game plan for future lessons. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First lesson free when you sign up for the first month. Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior the lesson. $30 for 30 minutes, $50 for an hour. Skype lessons are $20 for 30 minutes, $40 for an hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to give new customers 1 free lessons first, that way they can get to know me as a teacher and feel comfortable in the learning process. My job is to provide you the tools to learn whatever you want to play and to find your own inner voice in the instrument. I'll typically ask what experience the student has had, ask them to play their favorite song, and how they want to improve; both short-term and long term.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Music Business & Performance degree from Berklee College of Music, with over 14 years of experience. Experienced with live performances, studio/recording techniques and discipline, and overall musicianship.
