Alfred is a creative problem solver. He communicates well, he is easy to work with, he has a wonderful "can do" attitude, and his work is excellent. He combined creativity and welding skills to solve a difficult door fitting problem (inside a heavy steel frame) that was holding up a remodel. The work was visually pleasing, and the city inspector was happy! I immediately asked Alfred to help with another project, and I was very pleased again. Alfred is my new go-to guy for all future welding or piping projects.

Alfred Salas is OUTSTANDING!!! I have been working on fixing a project at my parent's house for a couple of months. I have called so many people and the few that called me back said they couldn't do it. I finally touch thumbtack and posted what I wanted and he called me within 5 minutes of the post. We talked about what the project was, I sent him pictures, and he said he'd be happy to work on it. We set a time and he showed up on time. He is so easy to talk to. My dad enjoyed talking with him. My dad (who's 85 but is of that generation who can do all kinds of things including welding but his 85 year old body can't do it the work anymore) and he was so impressed with Alfred's skill set. The project came out even better than I had hoped. He is top notch! He's a nice guy! I would rehire him in a second. If you need work done, call Alfred Salas. I can't thank you enough Alfred!!!

He text me the day before to confirm appt. he showed up on time and did an excellent job for us.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the job and budget of the client, I either work 77$ an hour or on a set budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually a client will contact me via phone or email, explaining what services they want. From there, I travel to their home or business for a brief meeting to discuss further what work they would like to have done and what materials are necessary for the job. At this time I take dimensions and get an idea of the project at hand. We would discuss the budget of the project and work from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended a trade school to become a certified welder. I have been working in this field for over 20 years.
