John's Traveling Guitar Lessons

I have extensive knowledge on the inner workings of music. I will use well known music you have heard to help you understand the theory you are being taught. When you hear examples of the concepts, they become easier to grasp. I come to your home which means that you don't have to get in your car and drive to me. I am very dependable and punctual. I also teach lessons over Skype for a reduced rate. Your enjoyment of the lessons and your progress are extremely important to me. I have played in many different groups over the years from big bands to combos to duos to solo guitar. I still study music constantly because I never want to stop expanding my abilities, and can help you find the passion for music if it doesn't already exist. I will gladly meet with you at no cost to discuss your goals and what we can do to make those dreams come true. I have a good sense of humor, and I'm not a rigid disciplinarian. I figure if you want to learn enough to take lessons, then I can help you improve. I love sharing what I have learned over many years of study with my students. I love seeing the light bulb light up when they prove to me that they understand a concept. I love the fact that I am sharing my love and knowledge of music with my students. I have been lucky over the years to have had many great students, some of whom are still friends of mine after many years. The guitar is a beautiful instrument, and is a tool that can be with you for your entire life. It has brought so much joy to me and I know, with the proper guidance, it can enrich your life in so many ways. So, yes, I am blessed to be in the profession I'm in.
