The photos speak for themselves! Joana was amazing. She worked magic in two days. She gave me my life back. I felt trapped in my own home not able to use or enjoy my space. I moved into this apartment two years ago and was unable to fully unpack. It has been a huge weight lifted. In addition to helping me decide what to keep or what to give and organizing what I kept, she took all the giveaway items and donated them to women’s shelters to help others. Joana’s services have been life-changing for me. But by the end of our first appointment, the first space we tackled was transformed, and with every appointment since then, another transformation occurs. Joana is motivating and enthusiastic about her work without being pushy or overwhelming. She’s patient, non-judgmental, and tackles the hard parts of decluttering with as much clarity and equanimity as the “fun” parts of organizing. Tasks I have put off for years get accomplished almost like magic when she’s around! She even has tips for better ways to manage ongoing tasks without her, but still really listens to my physical and personal limitations to help me find systems that will actually work for me. I hired Joana to help me sort and file or recycle more than a year of mail plus get my files organized. She worked with me on it for 11 hours over 2 days. We got all the files organized and got through everything on the table plus all the boxes underneath except one. She did a good job. I'm pleased and would hire her again.
