Introduction: Do you feel regularly overwhelmed by your emotions? Do you struggle with anxiety or overthinking? Have people told you that you’re “too sensitive?” Do you have low self-esteem or feelings of low self-worth? Do you feel like you’re going through daily motions but never feeling fully present or happy? Are you open to using creativity - especially music - to explore your feelings and support your health?
If you’re nodding your head “yes” to any (or all!) of these questions, you’re in the right place, and I want to help you get on the road to feeling better.
I’m Elisha, owner of Feel Creative Wellness (“Feel” for short.) I help anxious and highly sensitive adults feel calm, grounded, confident, and optimistic.
Feel is not your average therapy practice, and I am not your average therapist. Feel is a safe space for deep feelers and thinkers, those who are seeking to live an authentic and creatively inspired life, and those who want to dig deep to uncover their potential.
Is that you? Let's dive in.
Hi, I'm Elisha: I'm a nationally board-certified music therapist with ten years of clinical experience providing music therapy, a well-established form of holistic and creative therapy. In music therapy, we use music as a primary tool within sessions. That means, in addition to talking, we use the creative process to help you explore and process experiences and emotions that are relevant to your healing.
My approach is warm, trauma-informed, attentive, person-centered, and rooted in the belief that you are the expert in your own life and hold the keys to your own healing. I see you as an equal partner in the therapeutic relationship.
Being in private practice allows me to prioritize quality over quantity, so with me you will never feel rushed or like a patient number. I intentionally cap my client caseload so that I can devote the time and attention you deserve both within and in-between sessions. (Keeping a lower case load also helps prevent therapist burnout, so you can rest assured you’re getting the best version of me every time we meet.)
I practice holistically, which means that I incorporate other research-based and innovative techniques like mindfulness, meditation, movement, and mindset shifts into my therapy practice. Practicing holistically also means that I see you as a whole person; not just a collection of parts. Mental and physical health are deeply connected, and I want to help you learn to listen to your body’s wisdom so you can unlock better health.
After working with me, my clients have reported feeling more optimistic, energized, focused, relaxed, creative, happy, grounded, empowered, and confident.
