- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing for smaller jobs that are 2 days or less is $95 per hour. For jobs that are more than 2 days, I charge $75 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Firstly I like to listen to the customer and figure out what is required, give feedback and/or suggestions, and then to take a look at the project in person in order to give a more accurate estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been involved with construction and home remodeling since the age of 18. My father was the owner of a successful construction company for 40 years. I learned to do everything from laboring, drywall, plastering, bricklaying, paving, concrete, stud walls, carpentry, tiling, plumbing, drainage, guttering, painting, flooring, hanging doors, installing windows, moulding etc. etc. Although I have been involved with Mechanical Engineering of late (I was employed by United Airlines as an Aeronautical Engineer for 10 Years), I have always kept my hand in remodelling.
