- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is important to know that the cost of a project is not based solely on an hourly basis and pricing of materials. It ranges from the complexity of the painting project, for example: high ceilings, number of stories, amount of prep work, designs, etc including from the moment we are gathering tools and materials from the shop or store. You can rest assure that our +25 years of experience can make a project seem effortless and overall pleasant.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An in-person walkthrough isn’t mandatory yet is highly recommended in order to assess the complexity of the painting project and provide you with an accurate quote. This also establishes a personal relationship and helps in deciding if we are going to be a good fit for each other (yes, this is essential). During our initial walkthrough we discuss important details of what you would like to accomplish and what we can do to help you achieve your goal. We may also discuss what we would expect from you to prepare prior to our arrival and beginning of the project such as removing fragile items, furniture (in some cases), or if other contractors are required to perform their work first. After gathering all the details including personal information, it usually takes us 24-48 business hours to turn around your proposal and email it to you. From there on, we clarify any questions you may have so that we may move forward and schedule you in.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There is no better training than working directly in the field and with the professional leadership and journeyman skills of the owners, supervisors and foreman that have many years of experience.
