Here are examples of the learning process for different levels. Novice Level Learner: N5, N4 (Genki 1) - Greeting phrases - Basic Japanese writing system. e.g. Hiragana and Katakana - Numbers e.g. time, price, and ages, etc... - Long-form (polite way to talk) - How to order food - Culture etc... Intermediate Level Learner: N4, N3 (Genki 1 and Genki 2) - Many different kinds of forms are often used in Japanese society. e.g. しなければいけません, 〜んです, etc....... - 300 to 500Kanjis - reading passages with Kanji - reading a short news article and discuss the topic - Culture etc... Advanced Level Learner: N2, N1 (Tobira, Japanese news articles, or other requested textbooks) - 800 to 1000 Kanjis - Thinking critically in Japanese - Reading long articles from a Japanese website and discuss - Using the textbook "Tbira" to learn advanced grammar - Culture and History etc... I will provide you HW after lessons. Some people are too busy to work on HW outside of the lesson. In that case, we will work on the HW together in the lesson. I'm flexible with anyone who has a busy schedule and wants to learn Japanese.
