I have been designing gardens in the Bay Area for over 25 years, I have a degree in Landscape Architecture and a specialty in Horticulture.I work on one garden at a time and believe that doing so makes each project stand out and completed on time. I also hand pick all the materials (plants,stones etc) personally to make sure that I get the best for my clients. Visiting my gardens after completion for the first few months is also a way to make sure everything thrives. I love all aspects of my profession, from the design and conceptual phase of the project to the actual installation. Building gardens for my clients and seeing their pleasure, and the environmental improvement to the site are very rewarding.

Shirin is knowledgable and passionate about designing gardens that meet her clients' interests and needs. We have been wanting to plan our garden for a year, but as novice gardeners were not sure where to begin. Shirin met with us to learn our preferences and discuss possible plant options and layouts. She took time to review the designs she created and answer our many questions. We are very pleased with her work and eager to begin planting our new gardens!

Late in 2016, after four years of not watering due to drought, my front yard was looking quite bedraggled. I found Shirin on Thumbtack and knew when I talked to her at the first appointment that she was somebody I could work with to design and plant a drought-tolerant landscape. Credit the two of us with the end of the drought! She did a design in a short time, but then the rains started and didn't let up until spring, making it impossible to do the work. To her great credit at a time of a serious personal situation requiring her attention, she forged ahead with my yard when it would have been far easier to cancel out. Her crew was quite professional. After they discovered unexpected problems with my older irrigation system, they stayed until 8 p.m. to fix them and complete the job. Since then, Shirin has responded quickly to my post-installation questions, even coming across the Bay to diagnose a problem with my garden lights (which she hadn't installed) and then attending to the lemon tree to discourage an infestation of ants. I intend to use her again to landscape my back yard.
