Introduction: I studied photojournalism in the film days and has been a photographer for over 20 years.
As a mom of two littles, I'm loving this new adventure of navigating the hyper-speed world of children, watching them grow into people, learning how to make connections in this new community, and finding joy and humor in the absurdity of it all.
I get how hard it can be to take some time together to just have fun. This is why I aim to make my photo sessions a joyful experience that clients don't have to stress about.
In addition to having fun making photos, I also enjoy good food, baking, music/dancing, travel, and walks around the neighborhood.
I'm loving calling Oakland home with my husband and two daughters.

We had Rikki photograph our family and we couldn't be more thrilled. She's helped capture the memories of our family and kids that still melt my heart every day. Her approach to direction and helping kids be their natural self to capture their best selves is really awesome. We loved working with her so much, we not only worked with her for when the kids were babies but now that they are big kids. She photographed our son when he was just a few weeks old and he just turned 10. She is so patient and easy to work with. And the moments she captures are so beautiful. We have her prints all over our house and we love looking at them every day.
We plan to work with Rikki all the way through our kids' weddings, and beyond!
