I was quoted a price for a job for Ring doorbell and two outdoor lights for $415. The outdoor lights were quoted at $130 per light. I decided not to install the third light. That would have made the contact $285.00. He charged me $385.00 and I wrote a check. I looked at my contract after I returned home from my TBI injured son's house and realized I was overcharged $100! I called Danny, the installed and he said that he bundled the install and that I was not entitled to that pricing. THIS IS A SCAM! He never told me that nor did he ask me to sign an addendum or an acknowledgement that the price was going up! We had a signed written contract! He refuses to give me my $100 overcharge and wants to go to arbitration. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Electron Home Support's reply
Hi Beverly,
I’m sorry you feel disappointed. I want to clarify for future customers.
The final charge reflected standard pricing for the two devices that were installed. My standard rate is $180 per device, plus a $25 Marin County service area fee, totaling $385. The third device was discussed but not installed, and no charges were applied for it.
The invoice accurately reflects the completed work and was provided at the time of service. I addressed your concerns directly and in writing.
I stand by the quality of my work and transparent pricing, and I wish you the best.
