We are a mobile dance and wellness service provider that delivers dance and wellness directly to you.

Mobile Dance and Wellness offers personal in-home services in:

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. The most common services I provide for my clients are dance instruction, wellness plans which include the incorporation of yoga, meditation, journaling, nutritional plans, vision boards in life coaching sessions, as well as, massage therapy and body work treatments.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Assess your needs first. Be honest with your yourself on what you need and/or want, this way you will be able to share it with your wellness provider.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. If I were a customer interested in dance lessons I would like to be familiar with rhythms and music appropriate for each dance style. The more familiar I am with a dance rhythm the easier it will be for me to learn the dance steps and movements.

If I were a customer interested in yoga I would like to have good awareness of my body, of anatomy and of yoga tools that would facilitate my practice with ease.

I were a customer interested in massage therapy I would like to be knowledgeable in anatomy, body systems, endocrinology and natural healing. This would better help me understand what is occuring in my body during and after my massage session and would give to the tools to best help my body stay relaxed.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I am very patient, attentive and encouraging to all of my dance students. I always tell my students that our dance class is a sacred space where there is no judgment, comparison, doubting or insecurities. We are in a safe place to learn and express ourselves. My wellness work is very holistic and intuitive. I work with the whole person and not just a part of them. I take the time to care and be a supportive part of each client's wellness and life goals plan.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love to help people live their best lives through dance and holistic wellness practices such as yoga and meditation, staying fit through fitness and nutrition and providing stress relief and relaxation through massage therapy.

I have been passionate about dance and wellness my whole life. I am filled with joy to have the opportunity to share my passion with others. It is evident in everything I do and I believe that is what makes my work so rewarding.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Students who are new to dance often wonder what is the appropriate attire for their first lesson. Depending on the dance style, the right shoes are the most important in the students ease to learn. When the student is comfortable in their own shoes, then they will be more confident to dance without reservation. All dance styles have specific shoes for the style. If a student does not have the appropriate shoe for the dance I would suggest wearing a shoe that has a smooth, non grip surface so that the student can easily dance around. It is also important wear clothes that move easily with their body. This is also appropriate for yoga and pilates sessions. Wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move in.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Dance and wellness have been a part of my life since I was a child. I have been dancing since I was six years old. Proper nutrition and care for my body were encouraged and I started a discipline of self care at a very young age. It was only a natural progression that grew into a career. I have been teaching dance and practicing wellness with others since my college days, more than 15 years now.
