Project: Revive a lawn sprinkler system that had been unused for 12 years. The biggest challenge of the project was to open the valve to the sprinkler system because the valve's circular handle had deteriorated and crumbled. Any further damage to the valve's main stem will result in major repair and will cost a lot of money. Dwayne patiently researched and experimented on possible low-cost solutions. He fixed the valve and charged me only a small fee. In addition, it turned out that he knows a lot about gardening and gave me valuable insights on what to do with my barren backyard. Dwayne is an outstanding professional. To call him a "handyman" is not reflective of the high level of service that he provides and the vast knowledge base that he brings to the table. I would easily classify him as a "home improvement consultant". Dwayne is truly a joy to work with. When he briefed me on what he did to solve the problem and gave me suggestions on what I can do about my backyard, I knew that I finally found the elusive professional I had long been looking for. Dwayne is the best. We had a tub and wall tile in the bathroom that needed to have enamel resurfacing, applied by a previous handyman, completely removed. We thought it could be an impossible job because first the job done by the previous handyman had to be completely undone. Dwayne spent the day removing the residue inch by inch, re-grouted the tile and around the tub, and left the 40-year old tub and wall tile looking like new. His estimate was reasonable and in the end was exactly what he had charged. Dwayne is a gem. I will start tonight compiling a list of other jobs that need to be done around the house.
