FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Realtors work on a commission only basis. When the transaction is closed we get paid. If it doesn't close we have worked to that point for free. Typically the seller or landlord pays a commission that is split between the agent representing them and the agent representing the buyer or renter. All commissions are negotiable and vary between 1-10% on average
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet in person to be able to get a real understanding of your needs and goals. A home is often an reflection of your personal taste and there are a lot of homes that won't be a good match. I work towards finding the property that you can call home. For a seller it is just as important that I have a full understanding of your goals and financial expectations as well as the market for your area and the time frame in which you need to move. I find that I often ask questions the buyer or seller hasn't considered, so conversation is important. It is also very important that you are kept aware of the process as we progress with the transaction. Though I'll go over everything initially, it is always necessary to make sure you understand every aspect of the transaction as we go along. No surprises. I prefer to come to you with solutions, not problems.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Real Estate License with the state of California. I can conduct business anywhere within the state and can also introduce you to competent Realtors outside of the state of California. I work with both properties and vacant land for lease and for sale.
