Yue did an okay job with bringing my 2page resume to 1page. But I had expected that my sentences and some of the words I used in my resume would be either re-worded or constructed differently. I expected professional keywords to be edited into the resume to make it stand out more but that did not happen.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I work on a per project basis and accept all forms of payment: PayPal, Check, or Cash. I prefer PayPal or cash. I prefer to be paid upfront but can also do 50% up front 50% after the job if the customer desires.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to talk on the phone with the new customer for 15 minutes to get an understanding of what their goals are and ask some questions around general skillsets. It's important to think of the the box when it comes to finding what matters to potential future employers, especially for those looking to make a career switch. I then ask the customer to send me their current (and any past) resumes in a doc format so I can edit. We repeat this process once or twice until I get it right. I spend about 2 hours on each job.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been writing resumes for the last 15 years, and have successfully helped others apply for jobs across retail, technology, IT, financial services, CPG, and healthcare / Pharma jobs. I am familiar with most types of roles at companies from finance to marketing to product and engineering.
