We had a bit of a scheduling issue with ThumbTack, but once we got that straightened out, Ulises showed up and did great work. He installed a ceiling fan in my stairway, and although there was already an electrical connection, it was too high for me to reach with my standard ladder. Ulises was professional, ensuring weight limits and so on before the install, and cleaning up the work area when he finished. I’d use him again.

When we met Ulises he seemed competent and professional. For the work he performed which was out door garden lighting he did not complete the job and after reaching out to him he said he would come back the following day and never did. He also overcharged his fee he said the job was more complicated then he thought. We agreed he would install one more section and make sure the transformer worked proper. We tried to tell him we needed a new transformer but he claimed he made the old one work. It didn’t work as it stopped working and he never came back to finish what we agreed on and we paid him already, said he needed cash so I drove to the ATM. We have other jobs he agreed he would do one at a time but since he never came back we are now using another thumbtack person who seems honest and reputable. Very disappointed but we believe Thumbtack to be a reputable contact for people to look at handyman I would like to update our review with Ulises. Upon having a conversation and clearing up misunderstandings, Ulises completed the work to our satisfaction and we are moving on to the next project. He stood behind his word and we greatly appreciate his effort to work this out.
