With over 5 years experience in teaching private and group classes (over 100 dogs a week) I have the skills to use force free methods to train your dog. I wanted help with my dog walking on a leash. Ratna did a great job explaining each step and after just a few training sessions we are enjoying our walks together. Thank you for your guidance, it was a pleasure working with you. When we get our next puppy we will definitely call you again!

I would highly recommend using Monterey Peninsula Dog Training. They worked wonders for our family! We rescued two dogs from our local SPCA who had major behavioral issues (dog agression, fear of men, etc.) She educated us on what causes these behaviors and how to remedy them or how to live with them. She also did basic obedience training with us. Our dogs went from potentially being euthanized due to their behavioral problems, to being the great family dogs they are today! We are so happy that we chose Monterey Peninsula Dog Training, her wealth of knowledge and experience changed our lives and we are very thankful for it.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will first conduct an in-person evaluation with the client and their dog to understand their training needs. Based on the evaluation we will discuss a training plan and timeline.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Canine Good Citizen evaluator and have taught both private and group classes for over 5 years.
