FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Personal Training I charge $60 per one hour session. There is also a possible $10 fee if I have to travel further East than Monroe or further West than Monterey. Additional people are $10 each with a limit of three total people. Fascial Stretch Therapy is $100 per one hour session. I do give discounts for military families, veterans, and first responders.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates in Kinesiology and certifications in Personal Training, Senior Fitness, Nutrition, Fitness Therapy, Corrective Exercise, Bodybuilding, TRX, and Fascial Stretch Therapy.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I earned my first certification while deployed to Afghanistan during my five year service in the US Army where I served as a Military Police Sergeant. Going into the military, I was overweight and out of shape. During my first year of service, I had a leader who showed me how to use the gym to not only to get in better shape, but to allow it to be a sort of mental and emotional therapy. The feeling of going into the gym and working until all your stress is gone is the best gift to give to yourself. Fitness isn't only for your body; it's for your mind, body and spirit. It's that feeling I love introducing to people and why I am so passionate about spreading my knowledge to others.
