We provide personalized interior design concepts for each our Clients. Our goal is to provide an end result that is unique to that Client. One that creates an environment that satisfies the Client's design criteria, budget and schedule as well as integrating their preferences with regard to taste. One of the benefits of being a small company is we never bite off more than we can chew which allows us to provide expeditious service to our Clients. We are willing to meet any day at any time with our Clients. Interior Design is always evolving. I thrive on exposure to new sources, new product, new technology and the continual learning process that never ends. I truly enjoy working with people. I love to draw. As opposed to manual which is how I learned to draw am now experienced with AutoCAD and SketchUp.

Steve, We have only been working with Steve for a short time, however he a very good communicator. He listens to your ideas however tactfully shows you other options that will likely work better. Just what you want from a designer. He has connections to key suppliers.

Charette Design is outstanding. Steve's breadth of design expertise is extensive. Creative yet realistic. Excellent communicator. Prompt and responsive. Very resourceful with sourcing. Has great relationships in the area and can easily save a person time and even money on their projects. Seasoned working with clients who may have differing viewpoints at times. Understands and knows how to coordinate and add texture resulting in a well thought out and designed home. Would hire again and again.

Steve has been working with us for 14 months designing the remodeling of our Palm Springs home. It has been a perfect experience. From Day One, he has treated the project as his own home. Great ideas, superb design and highly technical skills. Steve has been able to produce detailed Blueprints (Plans) for our Contractor to follow and has introduced us to sources for everything necessary for the remodel, including flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, appliances, and furniture and furnishings. He has been a One Stop Shop for us. What a great find !

I moved to Palm Springs about 3 months ago and purchased a home that required an extensive remodel. I selected Steve Charette to assist me and was immediately impressed by his design ideas. Steve produced excellent drawings that enabled me to understand the plan completely. Steve also has excellent contacts with trades people. My contractor told me that he enjoys working with Steve because the drawings are of such detail, that no misunderstanding will occur.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge for my expertise and the comprehensive Interior Design services Charette Design offers. Depending on the size of the project, procurement is provided at Designer's cost plus tax, shipping etc. for furniture and finishes.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a one hour initial meeting at no cost to the Client to ascertain their design needs and criteria. No design recommendations are offered at the initial meeting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Science Design, Interior Architecture, College of Architecture, Arizona State University. AutoCad Training
