Everyone seems to have a friend or a friend of a friend who bartends, but after our initial phone call, we had the best impression and vibe from Mario right from the start. He was open and responsive, making communication easy throughout the planning process and our phone calls. Mario applied no pressure to choose his services but carried an assuring confidence in what he could deliver. After interviewing a few others, we ultimately circled back and chose Mario. He provided a detailed list tailored to our guest count of 150 and arrived with an assisting bartender to ensure efficient service. Despite our lively crowd, Mario managed the bar smoothly. He crafted signature “his and hers” drinks that were awesome. I can personally vouch for the smoked old fashioned with bourbon 😮‍💨. Even when we ran out of tequila, he quickly adapted by creating alternative drinks with the remaining supplies. For some reason, the guests loved the tequila first 🤔. Our guests loved him, and so did we. We ended up extending his service by three more hours, keeping Mario around until 1 a.m. Mario was professional, clean, and blended seamlessly into our family environment. His fluency in both English and Spanish made all our guests feel comfortable. He maintained a friendly and approachable demeanor, ensuring everyone enjoyed their experience. We know bartenders can sometimes come off as stiff or uptight, but Mario was the opposite: warm, engaging, and a true professional. Overall, a fun time was had. Even if you have those personal referrals, where all your friends say they’re the best bartender, I say you give Mario that shot to host your party. He’s the man.
