The previous owner of my house was a super-DIY person, a landlord of multiple rentals. I have learned that there are short cuts taken for THEIR bottom line. The left & right cabling and drums were of different sizing (wire diameter and corresponding reel configuration, along with different L vs R spring ratings. My garage door was a problem waiting to happen which happened during another garage upgrade and the garage door was released from the opener (Genie belt-drive) to manual raise-lowering resulting in the R-side cable coming completely off the spooling drum and not being able to be reset.
Yes I opted for the Lifetime Warranty (made in USA) springs over the 3-yr warranted Canadian made springs (sorry, I will support "Made in USA" where/when possible) which did increase the completed price (do not go with the China made springs that only have a 1-year warranty).
But my garage door tech was respectful in his explanation of the condition of my roll-up door (that had been patched/band-aided in previous years by my seller). I never want to band-aid a condition and then wait 3-4 years for another major repair. Response time from the tech (through the parent company) was excellent - that same afternoon when the door would not close.

My garage door opener stopped working this afternoon. They were able to schedule me within 2 hours after contacting them which was really quick. Technician arrived within an hour and he was able to replace the opener with a new one that is also quiet. Service was great I really liked them, and the price was right.
