The bottom line up front I hired Yin for my engagement on the beach. He is the best choice if you want a photographer that not only knows what they are doing but also has an"EYE" for photography. The story here is I reviewed both pages on thumbtack and reviewed over 15+ photographers profile, website, and IG and Yin is the photographer that stood out to me. So I messaged him and he got back to me immediately. The engagement was scheduled on a Friday and I had messaged him on that Wednesday. So this was a last minute hire. After connecting through the messaging app we spoke on the phone in depth about what I wanted to achieve and he asked all the questions you would expect a professional to ask. He also went out of his way to provide examples, and ideas for our shoot. Even the morning of the engagement we spoke again. During the actual shoot Yin was very clear, confident, and creative during the entire process. We felt very comfortable and really made the entire experience a breeze. If you are looking for a photographer who haas an "EYE" and knows what they are doing Yin would be perfect for you! Thanks Yin!!!!

If I could give 6 stars I would. We were in a long search for a product photographer. Yin was recommended by a friend and with hesitancy, we invited him to our onsite studio. After our conversation, we cleared our doubt and knew he was the right person to do the job. Yin was very professional -- he understood the look we're going for and provided helpful advice throughout the process. Most important of all, his lighting and composition skills are top-notch. On the day of the session, Yin arrived on time and within minutes, he was producing results that far exceeded our expectations! We were simply blown away by his talent. He made it look very easy and flawless. My boss, the models, and I all had a tremendous experience working with Yin. If you're in a quest for a photographer, look no further!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer multiple packages as well as custom packages to suit different needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'd ask the customer for a few sample imageries of the look or style he/she is looking for. From there, I will create a Pinterest board of inspirations and ideas to get the ball rolling.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Back in college, I was one of the most reliable senior photographers at Daily Bruin, a nationally recognized and award winning newspaper. I was also a mentor at the Photography Club at UCLA. I led portraiture and lighting workshops that took the club to another level.
