Hello and welcome to my profile, I am a professional guitarist with 15 years of dedicated teaching experience and the owner of Amadeus Studios based in Pasadena, CA. My approach to instruction is curriculum-based yet highly adaptive. I assess each student's existing skill level, musical interests, and learning style during our initial session, and develop a tailored roadmap from there. I emphasize proper fundamental technique, music literacy, and ear training, but I always contextualize these skills within the music the student actually wants to play—whether that is classical repertoire, standards, or contemporary rock. I maintain a patient, low-pressure environment. Progress is measured not by speed, but by consistent, incremental improvement. I focus on efficiency and practical application, respecting their busy schedules and specific personal goals. Logistics: In-Person: I service East Los Angeles area and provide lessons in my Studio Amadeus Studios in Pasadena, or can travel to student location in the surrounding areas. Online: I utilize a low-latency audio interface and a dual-camera setup to ensure clear visual instruction and pristine sound quality. All online sessions are recorded and provided to the student for review. Repertoire & Disciplines: Acoustic, Electric, and Classical Guitar Rock, Blues, Jazz, Pop, and Fingerstyle Sight-reading, Improvisation, and Music Theory application Experience Levels: Beginner: Foundational posture, chord transitions, and rhythmic stability. Intermediate: Scale fluency, barre chords, and soloing vocabulary. Advanced: Harmonic analysis, compositional techniques, and performance preparation.
